Hi, my name is Anna. I’m an amateur motorcycle mechanic and a seasoned motorcycle traveler.
I got my motorcycle license when I was barely legal to ride. My first bike was a 1991 Yamaha XV 535 Virago which I rode everywhere, even from my home town Lübeck, Germany, to mainland Europe’s northernmost point, the North Cape in Norway, 500 miles north of the polar circle.
After the Virago, I owned a 1996 Honda CB500 which came in handy when I moved out of my college apartment in preparation of my relocation to the United States. It’s astonishing how many kitchen appliances you can strap to the back of a naked bike!
My current bike is a 2004 Honda CB600F Hornet. She been with me almost a decade, has undergone several extreme makeovers and doesn’t look much like the original anymore. This pic is from makeover II, I am currently at makeover IV (thinking about makeover V already).
I also restored a 750 Honda Nighthawk in 2015, and bought two Suzukis in Germany in 2016. Because every girl should have at least two bikes on every continent. 🙂
I am currently restoring a 1992 750 Nighthawk.
This is my blog where I infrequently ramble on about my bikes and my trips. If you’re on Twitter, you can follow me for more regular updates from Anna-Land.
